FLAIRS

The FLAIRS project (funded by MUR in 2023 under the PRIN PNRR 2022 programme)  aims at developing and investigating the very new technology of plasma-based Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces. 

In these devices, reconfigurable plasma elements (e.g., in terms of density) are employed to control the reflection of an impinging Electromagnetic signal with regards to phase, amplitude, and polarisation.

The project is coordinated by the University of Brescia in collaboration with University of Padova and University of Udine.
